React Native Skia Animation Examples

React Native Skia gives a component a canvas for paths, shaders, particles, and procedural artwork that would be awkward to assemble from ordinary views. The published pieces here use that drawing layer for effects such as a fluid loading orb, an orbital progress scene, drawn checkmarks, and confetti. Reanimated shared values can drive canvas properties without React updates on every frame, while Gesture Handler supplies input when the effect is interactive. Choose Skia when custom drawing is central to the interaction; a simple button transform or a plain progress bar usually works with React Native views alone. Canvas work still has a cost: limit particle counts, large translucent layers, blur, and shader complexity, and profile the final scene on your target devices. The catalog currently uses Skia 2.6.2 with Expo SDK 57. Web needs CanvasKit initialization before the canvas mounts. Each piece lists its dependencies and platform verification status, so a successful web preview should not be treated as proof of a device benchmark. Read the progress bar guide for a small shared-value ring before choosing a richer canvas effect.
